Who writes the AmalfiDuo Journal

Articles in the AmalfiDuo Journal are published under the byline AmalfiDuo Editorial. This is the editorial function of AmalfiDuo, not an individual clinician. Every article is researched, drafted and fact-checked by our editorial team, with AI assistance used in research and drafting. A human editor reviews every article before publication and is responsible for its accuracy.

We do not publish articles under invented author names or fabricated credentials.

What we are, and what we are not

The Journal is health journalism, not medical advice. Our articles report what published research, regulatory documents and clinical guidelines say. They do not tell any individual reader what to take, what dose to use, or whether a treatment is appropriate for them. Those are decisions for a licensed provider who can assess the individual.

The Journal is not medically reviewed. We say so plainly rather than implying a clinical sign-off that has not happened. Where a topic requires individualised clinical judgement — dosing protocols, drug interactions, or whether a treatment is safe for a particular person — we report what the published sources say and refer the reader to a provider rather than answering it ourselves.

How we source

• Every clinical claim carries an inline citation to a primary source: peer-reviewed literature, FDA-approved prescribing information, or guidance from a recognised professional body.
• We link to sources directly so readers can check them. We do not cite secondary summaries in place of the underlying research.
• We state the limitations of the evidence we report — study design, sample size, and whether a finding shows association rather than causation.
• Where the evidence is weak, contested or absent, we say so rather than filling the gap.

Compounded medications

AmalfiDuo dispenses compounded medications. Compounded formulations are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved products. FDA approval applies to specific manufactured drugs, and a compounded preparation containing the same active ingredient has not been through that process. We state this wherever compounded products are discussed.

Corrections

If we get something wrong we correct it, note the correction on the article, and update the modification date. To report an error, email support@amalfiduo.com.

Commercial relationship

AmalfiDuo sells prescription sexual wellness treatments. The Journal exists to inform, and articles are not written to sell a specific product. Where an article touches a topic related to something we dispense, that relationship is disclosed. Editorial decisions about what to cover and what the evidence shows are not made by our commercial team.

Updates

Articles show a published date and a last-updated date. We review and refresh our most-read articles at least annually, and update them when the underlying evidence changes.
