Tadalafil
Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor used to support erectile function. It helps increase blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, supporting the physical response needed for an erection and offering a longer window for intimacy. FDA-approved tadalafil has demonstrated erectile-function effects for up to 36 hours, although timing may differ with compounded formulations.
PT-141 (Bremelanotide)
PT-141, also known as bremelanotide, works through melanocortin pathways in the central nervous system involved in sexual response. In this compounded formula, it provides a different approach from tadalafil’s blood-flow pathway. FDA-approved bremelanotide is indicated only for certain premenopausal women and is not approved for use in men or for enhancing sexual performance.
Oxytocin
Oxytocin is a naturally occurring hormone associated with social bonding and interpersonal connection. In this compounded sexual wellness formula, it provides the connection-focused component alongside tadalafil and PT-141.
